Mark Ennis is Strategy Director of Muir PT, with primary responsibility for corporate strategies.
He has over 35 years experiences at Board level in both the public and private sectors.
Currently he serves as Non-Executive Chairman of SSE Ireland, the second largest energy utility in Ireland and part of the FTSE-listed SSE plc. He has served as a Non-Executive Director on many boards in both the Financial, Medical, Printing and Packaging and Industrial sectors and currently sits as on the Boards of W&G Baird and Wilson Biochemical Ltd.
Mark has most recently been Chairman of Invest NI (the inward investment organisation for Northern Ireland) where he held the position from 2011 until 2019.
Prior to joining the Energy sector with Airtricity Ltd, Mark was a Senior Vice President of Chesapeake Corporation a fortune 500 company and CEO of Boxmore International PLC. Mark was made a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 2016 for services to the economy and community in Northern Ireland.
